General Specs: Winchester, 1956, .32WIN SPL, 6lbs. 8oz., LOP 13 3/16″ Serial Number: 2191820
Americas favorite deer rifle. The perfect hunting gun either on foot or from the saddle, lightweight, nimble, and fast to action the 94′ is simple, safe, and reliable. The Model 94 is the rifle most associated with the Winchester name, it has sold over 7,000,000 units and is often referred to as the “ultimate lever-action”. This Winchester Model 94, sn2191820, was manufactured in 1956. The 20” barrel has an excellent 9/10 bore with crisp rifling, 99% factory bluing and is chambered for Winchester’s .32WS cartridge a more powerful round when compared to the ubiquitous 30-30, the front sight retains its hood. The receiver shows 97% factory bluing and superb screws, there is some silvering showing at the balance point- righteous handling wear earned through days being carried afield. The stock is nicer than most, plain walnut with a rich color and is finished with a checkered metal buttplate. The bluing and wood tone really set this Model 94 apart, it just goes together well, and with just the right amount of handling wear it’s the real deal! Pre 64 guns are continuing to climb in value and collectability, so don’t wait long or this fine example will be in someone else’s collection. Thanks for looking!
