General Specs: AyA, 1990, 20 Gauge, 6lbs. 10oz., Chokes IC/M, LOP 15 3/4″, DAH 2 3/16″, DAC 1 1/2″ Serial Number: 578391 THIS AYA IS UNLIKE ANY OFFERED FOR SALE ON THE INTERNET. THE ENGRAVING AND FEATURES BELY AN AYA NO. 2 MODEL. THE TYPICAL NO. 2 HAS RATHER PLAIN WOOD; THIS GUN HAS HIGHLY FIGURED FACTORY WOOD. ADDITIONALLY, THE ACTION HAS A HIDDEN THIRD FASTENER AT THE BREECH OF THE BARRELS AND ON THE STANDING BREECH OF THE ACTION LIKE AYA’S HIGHEST GRADE GUNS. No. 2 guns lack this feature. When looking at “BEST GUN” features, the AyA No. 2 has them all, including finely struck chopper-lump barrels, hand engraved sculpted action with beaded fences, hand-detachable sidelocks, articulated front trigger, removable firing pin bushings, long-tang trigger guard with rolled edge, European walnut stocked to the fences with drop-points, hand-checkered stocks all combine to make a very elegant gun. This gun was built in 1990 and remains in 99% original factory condition, with 99% deep rust blue on the barrels, 99% blue on trigger guard, 99% vivid bone and charcoal on the action, and the hand-rubbed oil finish on the wood. The gun is mechanically excellent with 27” chopper lump barrels choked IC/M still tight on the hinge pin and breech face like a new gun, the ejectors strong and well timed, trigger pulls crisp…all in superb condition. The highly figured wood on the gun presently has a LONG 15 ¾” LENGTH OF PULL TO A SILVERS PAD (14 7/8” TO THE END OF THE WOOD) THAT WOULD BE GREAT FOR TALL SHOOTERS. WE CAN SHORTEN THE STOCK TO A CHECKERED BUTT OR ANYTHING YOU CHOOSE IF IT IS TOO LONG. The wood is solid, with no cracks, most all the factory original finish, excellent checkering. See specifications below. Weighing just 6LBS. 10oz. and balanced perfectly between the hands, you could not ask for a nicer gun for your upland pursuits or forays on the clays course. This gun was built for the grouse and woodcock hunter, pheasant chaser, quail enthusiast with the perfect balance of 27” barrels and IC/M chokes. The price for a new AyA No. 2 in today’s market is over $11,000 MSRP! We have priced this ONE OF A KIND AyA special-order gun to sell so please don’t hesitate to call or she will be gone! You won’t find another one like it and the condition and beauty of the wood, engraving, and metal finishes are a bargain at this price. You can see all the specifications below. Thanks for looking.
