While John Moses Browning’s genius created the original Browning superposed it was Mr. Browning’s grandson John Val who travelled to Japan in the 1970’s to supervise manufacturing of the Browning Superposed. Christened the Citori, it joined the Browning line of over/unders Inheriting all the excellent attributes of the original Browning design and then adding selective improvements to aid with modern manufacturing processes. The Citori receiver is milled from a solid block of steel, and the chambers are hard chromed lined for longevity. The internal parts are all polished and hand fitted, earning the Citori its reputation as a precision fit shotgun. The Citori became a worldwide success on its introduction in 1973. This 1993 produced example, SN 03637NX1B3 is in 99% factory condition.  Chambered for the ever versatile 2 3/4″12gauge shell. It has an inertial trigger and selectable manual safety. The bores are in mirror like condition and feature Browning’s Invector Plus screw-in chokes, SK/SK are fitted, other choke restrictions are readily available, add your own choices to suit your needs. The Barrel is 28” and has a vent rib and is ported. The lever sits way right of center, and the ejectors are timed. The gun balances just in front of the pin.  It has grade one decoration with a pistol grip stock and hand cut checkering. A reliable gun to take afield or break some clays at the club, it’s everything a classic over/ under Browning can be- just right. This Citori is complete with a classic Browning Case.
