$24,950.00

General Specs: Parker, 1924, 28 Gauge, 5lbs. 11oz., Chokes M/F, LOP 14 1/8″, DAH 2 1/4″, DAC 1 7/16″
Serial Number:  213655

Small bore shooters love the 28ga. as it is so much more capable than a .410 when chasing upland birds and game.  Only Parker and Ithaca made vintage American side x side guns in this diminutive gauge.  Only 1411 28ga. VH grade Parkers were produced in total, with at least 1/3 of them being made on the 20ga. or “O” frame.  DON’T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF COMPARING THIS GUN TO A HEAVY “0” FRAMED PARKER 28GA…they just aren’t the same handling characteristics or value!  Less than 1000 VH guns were built on the “OO” frame.  About 200 Parker VHE guns were produced with ejectors and on the “00” frame making this a very rare and desirable Parker.  This Parker VHE 28ga. sn213655 built in 1924 is the best Parker VHE showing on the internet with its 94% factory case color (thin at balance point), excellent screws, 26” Vulcan Steel barrels tight on the hinge pin and breech face, excellent shiny bores, nicely reblued to 99%, and superb mechanics.  This is a VFI CERTIFIED GUN WITH 90 DAY MECHANICAL WARRANTY.  The action and forend iron were stripped to their smallest parts, Ultrasonic cleaned, scrubbed, inspected, lubricated, and reassembled, a $450 service in our shop.  We left the original 2 ½” chambers but there is plenty of metal to extend them to 2 ¾” with 1 ½” long forcing cones.  On such a rare gun we leave that decision to the next owner.  There is a Parker Gun Collectors Association letter included with the sale (see the photos) that documents this gun as you see her, with the exception of the stock grip.  THE LETTER IS INCORRECT AND IF YOU LOOK AT THE PHOTO OF THE STOCK STAMPINGS UNDER THE TRIGGER GUARD YOU WILL AGREE.  THIS MOST DESIRABLE “BALL GRIP” PARKER STOCK IS FACTORY INSTALLED ON THIS GUN AND SERIAL NUMBERED TO THE GUN.  Weighing just 5lbs. 11oz. this is a wand.  Choked M/F this is a gun just waiting to be taken afield for all your upland needs.  See the specifications below and you will notice modern stock dimensions for today’s shooter.  We have a lot of RST 28ga. shells in 2 ½” for sale here in our shop and RST has some in stock and are accelerating their production.  Parker 28ga. guns are so rare and desirable that they have never gone down in value…only up.  What a great, investment quality Parker “OO” framed 28ga. that will grow in value as you enjoy its use, and it is the best value on the internet BY FAR!. Just in time for your upcoming grouse/woodcock/quail season!  Thanks for looking!
