Vintage firearms is pleased to offer this Colt Official Police .38. The Colt Official Police was produced from 1927 to 1969, with approximately 425,000 manufactured. This example, serial number 699390, was produced by Colt in 1943 during wartime production. This revolver has been nicely refinished, retaining approximately 97% finish on the barrel and 95% on the frame. The 6” barrel has a mirror bore. There is some surface spotting, but overall, this is a nice wartime production Colt revolver. It’s an enjoyable shooter and will make a great range companion.
