Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer this Ruger No.1 single-shot rifle. The Ruger No.1, designed in 1966 by Bill Ruger, built using a Farquharson-style hammerless falling-block action, has become arguably the most popular single shot rifle on the market, following thanks in part to the sheer number of calibers offered. 67 different cartridges and counting! The Ruger No.1 since 2014 has been produced only in limited runs, typically as distributor exclusives released from time to time, which has made them quite collectable and a rather sought after item. This example, serial number 130-31511, produced in 1976 by Ruger in honor of America’s 200, is chambered to fire the high velocity 6mm Remington. The 26” barrel has a mirror 10/10 bore and raised quarter rib – ready for whatever optic suits your needs. The rifle retains 98%+ of its factory finish throughout and is equipped with a capped pistol grip stock and semi-beavertail forend. A few field marks which serve as evidence of use in the field and a hunt long since forgotten.
