| General Specs: A.H. Fox, 1928, 16-Gauge, 5lbs. 10oz., Chokes IC/M, LOP 14 1/4″, DAH 2 7/8″, DAC 1 5/8″ Serial Number: 302822 A wonderfully lightweight Philadelphia Fox A Grade, built in 1928 and weighing just 5lbs. 10oz. This is a delightful upland gun, combining the graceful lines and handling of a vintage Fox with the convenience of a crisp Miller single selective trigger. The classic A Grade engraving, slim splinter forend, and nicely figured walnut complete a very attractive package. The gun retains its factory metal finishes with honest wear, clear engraving, mirror bores, and a tight action. The wood presents nicely with excellent checkering and a fitted red Silvers recoil pad. A rectangular wood graft is visible on one side of the buttstock, as shown in the photographs. A fine example of a lightweight American double, ready for another generation of upland hunting.
