Here is a Beretta for the hunter who values how a shotgun carries and handles more than fancy walnut. This White Wing 20 gauge weighs just 5 lb. 11oz. with lively feel that makes a lightweight 20 gauge so enjoyable in the uplands. The proven Beretta over/under action features a single selective trigger, automatic ejectors and automatic safety, with traditional game-scene engraving on the receiver. The stock is finished with a nicely fitted Beretta recoil pad, and the gun comes in a fitted SKB takedown case. This is an honest field-used shotgun. The light-colored walnut shows finish wear, handling marks and somewhat utilitarian wood-to-metal fit, while the metal and bores remain considerably stronger. The checkering remains quite good and the gun presents exactly as a useful Beretta should: ready to be carried rather than worried over. At under six pounds, this is a particularly appealing little grouse, woodcock, quail or walk-all-day pheasant gun—and an affordable way into the handling qualities of a lightweight Beretta 20 gauge.
