| General Specs: BSA, 1945, .303BRIT, 7lbs. 5oz. LOP 13 5/16″ Serial Number: BD3609 Vintage Firearms Inc is pleased to offer this World War II classic! A true British made Jungle Carbine. This example was manufactured in 1945 at the Birmingham Small Arms factory. It is serial numbered BD3609 on the stock band, wood, bolt and magazine. The action has lightening cuts, and the barrel is fluted at the receiver ring adding up to a carbine that weighs a handy 7lbs. 5oz. The barrel has an excellent bore (6/10 with good rifling) and retains its bayonet lug. This Jungle Carbine was issued to the Malayan Police and is stamped F M P (Federation of Malaya Police). The furniture has a dark patina, and the pad has a little squish left but is not cracked, most often these pads are rock solid! The barrel is marked with an import stamp, but it is faint. Please review the photographs and specifications bellow. A great piece of history. Thanks for looking!
