Vintage firearms is pleased to offer this Colt Official Police .38. The Colt Official Police was produced from 1927 to 1969, with approximately 425,000 manufactured. This example, serial number 91869, produced in 1914 by Colt prior to the first world war. It retains 70% factory finish on the barrel and 90% on the frame. The 5” barrel has a mirror bore. There is some surface spotting, but overall, this is a nice prewar production Colt revolver. It’s an enjoyable shooter and will make a great range companion.
