Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer this Garate, Anitua y Cía. Model 333. The model 333 saw emergency use in the Spanish Civil War and were patterned closely after American service revolvers like the Smith & Wesson Model 10. Model 333 earned a reputation for its solid construction. This example, serial number 3759, manufactured in Eibar, Spain, between 1920 and 1936, was slated for export to the USA hence the made in Spain stamping on the frame, and thus escaped use in the Spanish Civil War. It has excellent bore with sharp rifling and the frame retains 95% factory finish showing honest handling wear and scattered light surface freckling. The checkered walnut grips remain in very good condition with light wear to the checkering. Overall, a great early 20th revolver with some character. Specifications and pictures are below.
