| General Specs: MAS, c1947, .22LR, 8lbs. 1oz., LOP 13 7/8″ Serial Number: F25568 Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer a delightful MAS 45 chambered in .22LR. The MAS 45 was designed by Mauser to serve as a training rifle for French Forces in June of 1945 post French occupation of a Mauser factory. Production lasted from 1945 to 1948, in which somewhere between 30000-40000 units were produced. This Mas 45 was produced towards the end of the production run circa 1947. It has a 9.5/10 mirror bore with sharp rifling, retains 99% factory finish on the barrel and receiver. Please note, there is some lateral play in the rear tangent sight. Included are seven 5 round magazines, so you can practice those reload drills! These are cool little shooters if you want something with a fascinating history that won’t break the bank to shoot.
