Norinco NHM91 7.62x39mm – 1993, UNFIRED, BOXED, 2 MAGS, SLING, ACCESSORIES

The AK is one of just a handful of guns that truly needs no introduction, adopted in some fashion by countless different countries, groups, and networks, and are still in active service today. Kalashnikovs have been adapted to serve all manner of roles both civilian and military; from compact Submachine Guns and Carbines to full size Squad Automatic Weapons and Marksmen Rifles and everything between. The Norinco NHM91 is essentially a Chinese variant of the Soviet RPK, with some modifications to comply with US import law. Norinco marketed these guns as “sporting rifles” for their longer sight radius, reduced magazine capacity, and swapping the typical AK furniture for a thumbhole stock with a longer length of pull and a thicker pistol grip. The NHM91 features a chrome lined 20” barrel with a bipod mount and a receiver constructed from heavier-gauge stamped sheet metal, making them more rugged than some other Norinco models. This example, serial number 9310079, manufactured 1993 is in near perfect condition, retaining 99%+ of its original factory finish, and appears to be unfired. This rifle remains “as is” from its import into Ontario Canada and still retains the rivet in the magazine release button, making it incompatible with most AK mags unless modified. It comes with its original box, manual, oiler, cleaning rod, canvass sling, and two 10 round Chinese mags. A superb example of a Kalashnikov pattern rifle from one of the platform’s most respected manufacturers.
