Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer this exceptionally high-condition Remington Model 1900. Introduced as a lower-priced companion to Remington’s earlier Model 1894 – the company’s first hammerless double-barrel shotgun – the Model 1900 earned a reputation for durability and longevity during its 1900 to 1910 production run, when 98,508 shotguns were made. This example, serial number 378256, manufactured by Remington in 1909 is in superb overall condition. The 30” barrels have mirror bores, 2 1/2” chambers, and are choked Light Full. The barrels retain 98% factory blue with only light fading in small areas, while the receiver and trigger guard display vivid 98% factory case color. If you would like the chambers lengthened for modern 2 ¾” shells, our Vintage Firearms gunsmiths will carefully measure the chamber walls before extending them. For added comfort and performance, forcing cones can also be lengthened to help moderate felt recoil, and chokes can be opened if desired.
