| General Specs: Ruger, 2004, .220 Swift, 10lbs. 5oz. LOP 13 1/2″ Serial Number: 134-06102 Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer this Ruger No.1 single-shot rifle. The Ruger No.1, designed in 1966 by Bill Ruger, built using a Farquharson-style hammerless falling-block action, has become arguably the most popular single shot rifle on the market, following thanks in part to the sheer number of calibers offered. 67 different cartridges and counting! The Ruger No.1 since 2014 has been produced only in limited runs, typically as distributor exclusives released from time to time, which has made them quite collectable and a rather sought after item. This example, serial number 130-42516, produced in 2004 by Ruger, is chambered to fire the high velocity .220 Swift round. The 24” barrel has a mirror 10/10 bore and raised quarter rib, fitted with a Meopro Optika5 2-10x scope. Meopta is a well-respected optics maker, and we have left the scope in place because it is an excellent match for this Ruger No.1 and well suited to the flat-shooting .220 Swift cartridge. The rifle retains 98%+ of its factory finish throughout and is equipped with a capped pistol grip stock and semi-beavertail forend. A few field marks including a ding at the muzzle edge are present, (the all-important crown is perfect) serving as evidence of use in the field and a hunt long since forgotten. Accurate, reliable, and highly collectible, this Ruger No. 1 is an excellent opportunity to add a fine single-shot rifle to your collection. Thanks for looking!
