Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer this classic .22 caliber Smith & Wesson revolver. Smith & Wesson needs little introduction, being one of the most enduring firearm manufacturers in America. Their K-frame is renowned for its durability and reliability, and the Model K22 is no exception. This example, snK29152, produced in 1948 by Smith & Wesson, chambers the economical .22LR and has a 6” barrel with mirror bore. Notably this revolver only says “MADE IN U.S.A.” as opposed to the four lines of text of later production K22 revolvers. This gun has been well cared for, retaining 99% factory blue on the barrel with some slight finish loss at the muzzle. The receiver retains 98% finish with some slight silvering around the grip and on the edges of the frame. The rib is fitted with adjustable rear target sight, which has received a matted finish to reduce glare, and a corresponding front post. This is a classic and accurate revolver great for training and plinking targets at the range. Thanks for looking!
