Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer this classic .357 Magnum Smith & Wesson revolver, known as the last standard issue revolver of the FBI. Smith & Wesson needs little introduction, being one of the most enduring firearm manufacturers in America. Their K-frame is renowned for its durability and reliability, and the Model 13 is no exception. Produced from 1974 to 1999 the Model 13 was based on the Model 10 but with the addition of a heavier barrel on both square and round butt K frames, the Model 13-2 retains Smith & Wesson’s traditional pinned barrel and recessed chambers. This example, 5D32446, produced in 1979, has been refinished. The 4” barrel has mirror bore and retains 98% finish, and the receiver retains 95% finish. The frame is fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver Smith & Wesson medallions. Also included is a set of Altamont Super Blackwood grips.
