The Winchester Model 12 has been a famed gun for upland game and clay target games, having won many National Championships on the trap and skeet fields. Known throughout the world as the very finest pump action shotgun ever made, these guns were hand fitted and machined to perfection. From the skeet and trap fields to the upland bird cover, even in the 3 major wars, the Model 12 has been a favorite of American gunners for over 100 years. This example, serial number 1505593, produced by Winchester in 1953, is chambered in the highly desirable 16 gauge. The 28” barrel has a mirror bore and is choked MOD, and it retains 99% factory finish on both the barrel and receiver. The factory pistol grip stock and pump forend show normal field handling marks from past use, and it is fitted with a Winchester hard rubber buttplate. The Model 12 earned the epithet of ‘The perfect repeater’, this example is part of that heritage and is still a force to be reckoned with on the sporting fields and upland hunts. Don’t miss this chance to add a Model 12 to your collection. Specifications and pictures are below. Thanks for looking!
