| General Specs: Winchester, 1940’s, 12-Gauge, 6lbs. 8oz., Chokes IC/IC , LOP 14 3/16″ , DAH 2 3/8″, DAC 1 1/2″ Serial Number: 13380 Finding a Winchester Model 21 12 gauge weighing 6½ pounds is exceptionally uncommon! This beautifully customized example was built with lightweight handling in mind, weighing an extraordinary 6 lb. 8 oz. with its custom splinter forend, or just 6 lb. 11oz. with the beautifully matched beavertail forend. Both forends accompany the gun, offering the choice of remarkable lightweight handling or the more traditional beavertail configuration. The customized frame features tasteful border engraving, a crisp single trigger, and gorgeous, richly figured walnut with a straight-grip stock and beautifully executed checkering. The 26″ barrels with mirror bores are choked approximately Improved Cylinder in both tubes, making this a particularly appealing upland hunting gun. Metal and wood finishes are excellent. Accompanied by an attractive Winchester-labeled fitted canvas case with cleaning accessories, this is an exceptionally handsome and distinctive Model 21.
