| General Specs: Winchester, 1935, .22 Hornet, 9lbs. 10oz., LOP 13 3/4″ Serial Number: 45476A Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer this Winchester Model 54. The Model 54 was the first successful production run civilian centerfire bolt action rifle for Winchester. This handsome rifle has its original finish on the stock, which shows slight impressions and honest field use, but not abuse by any means. The checkering is in very good shape. The metal has been refinished, the action being a bit plum. This elegant rifle also sports a cool vintage 6x Unertl Small Game Scope with Recoil Spring, mounted with Unertl mounts that are designed to allow the use of the Lyman 48W peep sight when desired. Perfect for midrange varmint of all types, the .22 Hornet is a great round that falls squarely between the .22 WMR and the .223 Rem, from a performance standpoint. Its light recoil and report make it a great training round, as well. Enjoy the photos and specifications and then consider adding this classic Winchester to your collection, the sights alone make this a great value!
