Those of us that love side x side upland guns have undoubtedly seen the beautiful Italian made guns by Piotti, one of the most prestigious makers of double guns from any corner of the world.  Most of us can just dream of owning one of these hand-crafted guns, as the prices are well into the 5-figure realm.  WELL, HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN A PIOTTI AT WORKING MAN’S PRICES.  In the early years, Piotti did make entry level game guns with the same care, the same hand-crafted quality as their expensive sidelock guns. This gun is a boxlock non-ejector gun in 12 bore, with a nicely case colored action, enough hand cut engraving to make it pleasing to the eye, a scalloped frame, well struck barrels, and a hand checkered straight grained stock mated perfectly to the metal.  We have thoroughly inspected this gun for all mechanical function, and it is in top working order.  This Piotti, sn1137 built in 1961 with 27 ¾” IC/M barrels, weighs in at a superlight 6 1/4lbs. and is balanced dead on the hinge pin…a gun you can carry all day over hill and dale with less fatigue than most 20ga. guns.  Great stock dimensions, chokes, barrel length…she even has swivels for one of those lightweight shotgun slings.  Anybody who has hunted in the west realizes there are no trees to lean your nice gun against when nature calls, your dog needs “stimulation”, or you want to eat a sandwich.  I can’t tell you how many times the dogs have walked on my gun while it lay on the ground.  IF YOU WANT THE SLING SWIVELS GONE, WE CAN REMOVE THEM AND ELIMINATE THE HOLES FOR $175.  Just in time for the upland season, light to carry and choked for flushing birds, and priced VERY affordably, don’t let this Piotti get away.  Specifications are listed below.  Thanks for looking!
