Vintage Firearms Inc is pleased to offer this Inland manufactured 1943 dated M1 Carbine, serial number 305704. The Inland Division of General Motors, Dayton, Ohio factory produced 2,252,388 Carbines with 886,969 manufactured in 1943. This example has a barrel dated 3-43 and has a mirror bore. The barrel and receiver show 97% factory original parkerization. The trigger group is supplied by Underwood and the operating rod is Rock-Ola manufactured. The M2 Pot Belly walnut stock is in excellent overall condition with good color and straight grain. This M1 Carbine is accessorized with a canvas sling, oiler, one 15rnd (keeler Brass/ Inland), two 30 round magazines with a ‘Jungle Clip’, and a post war Bren Den bayonet with scabbard.
