The Model 21 is an American icon with a well-deserved reputation.  A strikingly handsome gun made with the finest steels, gunners in the know have utilized this Winchester in the field and at the club to shoot thousands of rounds without failure.  IF YOU LIKE HEAVY LOADS FOR TOUGH GAME, THIS IS THE GUN.  Most double gun enthusiasts are keenly aware of the reputation earned by the Winchester Model 21.  With only 30,000 produced (compared to 250,000 Parkers!), any Model 21 is a valuable, investment quality firearm.  This Model 21, sn21669 built in 1948, is a custom upgraded gun with beautiful deeply cut scroll engraving on a coin finished receiver, well-figured  French walnut stock with A-carved checkering pattern that includes ribbons and points, all mechanically excellent and in near new condition.  The Cody Firearms Museum information sheet shows the gun was built with 30” M/F barrels and 2 3/4” chambers which is still the case.  The barrels tight on the hinge pin and breech face, bores are mirror shiny, ribs are tight and the blue remains at 99%.  The single selective trigger and ejectors are working just as they should.  The straight grip stock is impeccably fit and checkered, with a long length of pull (15” LOP to the pad, 14” LOP to the end of the wood, we can make it fit your needs) and a long graceful forearm almost fully checkered.  The gun weighs a moderate 7lbs. 7oz. and would be equally suited to your hunting or clay target needs.  We have 4 full-time gunsmiths and can make alterations if needed with no wait time.  The Winchester Model 21 action and barrels are particularly suited to custom upgrades as they are the strongest barrels and action ever put a side x side shotgun.  The cost to build a gun like this on the M21 format would exceed by far the price we are asking.  Highly dependable, heirloom quality, and a stunning gun to enjoy and show off to your friends at the local clays club, this is the time to treat yourself to a shooting machine unlike any other on the planet. With many late season pheasant seasons still open around the country this may be the perfect late season pheasant or waterfowl gun. See specifications below and make the call to buy this gun, as she won’t last long at this price.  Thanks for looking!
