What a stellar buy we have here on a truly remarkable side x side game gun by Beretta; a true round body trigger plate action gun modeled after the finest Scottish made guns that cost 10 times what this gun can be purchase for.  Here is what the Beretta marketing people say about their new double gun:

“With the 486 Parallelo, Beretta has reintroduced the side-by-side shotgun in their lineup. Rather than giving an older model a face-lift, we have redesigned the action, springs and trigger-group, as well as the outward appearance of the shotgun. This is a shotgun designed to be as classic as possible to the outside, while incorporating materials and engineering features that make it orders of magnitude more durable than anything made 100 years ago. A true statement of classic taste, the 486 Parallelo is the perfect shotgun for the gentleman (or lady) hunter. Hunters knowledgeable in classic shotguns associate a round action with hunts in the Scottish Highlands at a time when hunts were important social occasions. Holding the 486 Parallelo and seeing its action will evoke this association. Its round action contains only very few straight lines and looks like it has grown organically together with the stock into something harmonious and beautiful. To the outside, the lines of the action are also complemented by English-style scroll engraving, which also extends to the top lever and trigger-guard.”

The modern screw-in choke system, ejectors that can be disabled with a switch in the forend assembly, 3” magnum chambers, and superb handling characteristics combine to make this gun  a superb upland gun and an able clays gun in one attractive package.  Note that Beretta did not use their usual monobloc barrels that have that unsightly seam at the breech area of the gun…a grand improvement aesthetically.  The gun has been fired, but has not a mark on it…literally a 100% mint gun complete with the factory case and all accessories that would be with a new gun still in the factory packaging.  The only difference is the price is $1000 less than the same gun new from a Beretta dealer.  This one even has wood that has better figure than most. See the specifications below.  Thanks for looking!
