General Specs: Smith & Wesson, 1958, .22LR, 36oz., 4″ Barrel Serial Number: K334257 Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer this Smith & Wesson Model 18 manufactured in 1958 and serial number K334257. Prior to 1957 this revolver was produced as the “K-22 Combat Masterpiece”. It wasn’t until 1957 that Smith & Wesson officially began producing this revolver as the Model 18. Those produced from 1957-1959 were stamped with “Model 18” on the inside of the yoke up until Smith & Wesson implemented the first production variation in 1959, resulting in later productions being marked with the variation # following “Model 18”. This example was made within the first year of production for Model 18’s and retains 98% overall factory finish with a shiny mirror bore. This revolver has a 4-screw K-Frame and features the target hammer and target trigger with an adjustable trigger stop. The mechanics are excellent and the lockup is very tight. The Smith & Wesson Model 18 is a highly accurate and reliable target shooter, with those produced between 1957-1959 being hard to find in such high condition. This revolver comes with a Plano hard case and is a fine addition to any collection. Please review the detailed photographs and specifications for this high condition revolver below.
