$2,750.00

General Specs: Webley & Scott, c1900, .455, 34oz. 4″

Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer this Webley Mark IV; the Webley revolver was adopted as the British service revolver in 1887 and served that role until 1963. The Mk IV was adopted in 1899 and rose to prominence in the Boer War and thus is occasionally referred to as the “Boer War” Model. The Webley Revolvers earned the moniker of the “Webley Self-Extracting Revolver” for its top break action which ejects spent casings, thus quickening reloads. This example, serial number 107463, produced circa 1900 and was issued between 1899 and 1913 during the period of the Second Boer War. The frame, barrel and cylinder all have matching serial numbers, and military broad arrows signifying government ownership, with the gun well covered in acceptance stamps – as is the British fashion! The barrel retains 96% of its factory finish and sports a shiny mirror bore with strong rifling. This Mk IV comes with a holster, lanyard, and ammo belt which will ship separately incurring its own shipping cost, if you would like the bullets included. The belt with the bullets can be shipped directly to your house depending on your state Laws. If you would like the gun and holster shipped together, we will not be able to ship it with the bullets, please call to discuss. A great choice for militaria collectors or those who just like unique revolvers.
