| General Specs: Remington, 1860’s, .32 Rim Fire, 9oz., Barrel 3″ Serial Number: 8125 Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer the Remington‑Rider Pocket Revolver fitted with a factory cartridge conversion cylinder, one of the earliest American double‑action revolvers manufactured in significant numbers. Produced by E. Remington & Sons and only about 2000 true double action revolvers were made between 1860 and 1873. This example has an unusually high serial number- 8125, with matching serial numbers on the frame, barrel, while the cylinder and cylinder back plate have what appears to be 725 which could be a case of someone mistakenly using a number 7 and not a number 1 punch, easily done! The barrel has 75% factory bluing visible with the earlier two-line roll mark, while the frame is going to a pleasing patina. The front sight and trigger guard is German Silver. The bore is excellent with some small areas of light pitting. The hammer shows vivid case color. The fit and finish on this diminutive revolver is excellent with the grips being fit perfectly. Have a look at the specifications and pictures below. This revolver is considered an Antique and can be shipped directly to your home address, please review your local laws. Thanks for looking!
