Here we have a unique single shot rifle. This is a Birmingham Small Arms (B.S.A.) Martini Cadet rifle that has been professionally sporterized to produce a handy lightweight gun in a popular and easily available hunting caliber. The Martini Cadet was manufactured between 1891-1949 with about 83,000 being produced. These guns were used predominantly by Australia and Great Britain with this his example has a Kangaroo on its breech. This rifle has a 9.5/10 mirror bore and the initials CFB beautifully engraved in gothic style on the trigger guard; this was a prized possession to be worthy of such embellishment. A great stalking rifle, easy to carry all day while hunting. Please review the photographs and specification of this unique drop block rifle. Thanks for looking!
