| General Specs: Perazzi, 2007, 28-Gauge, 6LBS. 7OZ., Chokes F/F, LOP 15 1/16″, DAH 2 3/16″, DAC 1 1/2″ Serial Number: 138734 Perazzi is a highly regarded Italian maker that generally is known for their competition guns. Their craftsmanship and quality materials are applied in this case, to a sweetheart of a field gun. The MX28 is built specifically on a 28-gauge platform, so it is light and maneuverable. The 30” barrels with ventilated rib, have mirror bores. Every finish on this gun is exceptional. The very fine 28 line-per-inch checkering on the forend, round knob pistol grip, and checkered butt give you excellent purchase on the gun. Simple border engraving with a burst of floral on the sides and bottom of the frame. The triggers are exceptionally crisp, and the safety, barrel selector, and ejectors are all functioning as you would expect from a top tier maker like Perazzi. All that aside, please take your time enjoying the photos and the detailed specifications. When you see this piece of highly figured, walnut with wavy grain, deep tone variations, and quilting, you may just fall in love.
