Mechanically the Silver Pigeon locks up when two conical bolts in the face of the receiver move forward upon closing to enter and engage two matching machined cutouts in the monobloc for a tight and secure lock-up. The action has a single trigger and a selective automatic safety. The barrel has a mirror bore, screw in chokes and strong and well-timed ejectors, the lever sits way right of center, everything locks up tight.  Ideal for all your shooting needs this Pigeon has chokes in Cyl/Sk/IC/M/IM constrictions which should cover you for most scenarios hunting grouse, pheasant, and quail and more, it will do an admirable job on the clay courses too. This Silver Pigeon has a generous length of pull at 14 13/16”, the forend finishes in an elegant Schnabel, and the checkering is in superb condition.
