There is no shortage of L.C. Smith Field Grade 16ga. guns. They made 38,678 of them. HOWEVER, HOW MANY HAVE 98% BOLD FACTORY CASE COLOR? This L.C. Smith Field 16ga. snFWS44374 made in 1949, is crisp and tight, with only a few minor handling marks and 98% vivid factory case color, 90% factory barrel blue, 80% factory trigger guard blue, and 99% restored wood finish. All the metal finishes are factory original, not restored. For those that like a beavertail forend, this gun has one on it at no extra cost. We have an inventory of original L.C. Smith splinter forends if that is what you prefer. This is a well done beavertail that along with the Single Sighting Plane raised rib and IC/M choked 28” barrels will make a great sporting clays gun for your vintage side x side shoots or for upland birds in the field.
