The Beretta 686 is a well-known action that has been used by Beretta in their field guns and clay target guns for decades. It is a very attractive action as it is shallow, and a very strong action that is up for the rigors of competitive clay target games and high-volume shooting like doves in Argentina. There is a special place in the upland bird hunter’s world for the diminutive 28ga. and it is THE CHOICE for those hunting quail, woodcock, grouse, doves, and other game birds, especially over pointing dogs. The Beretta 686 has a scaled baby frame designed specifically for their tiny 28 and .410 bored shotguns. Most other makers have 20ga. frames with 28ga. barrels on the larger action and it is just not the same as having a scaled frame specifically for the 28ga. gun. The trend in the shooting world toward longer barrels makes this particular Beretta special with its long, slender 30” barrels with screw-in chokes. This Silver Pigeon 1 was built in 2012 and is in very high original condition with 99% barrel blue and all of the chromed coin-finished receiver and trigger guard. The gun comes with its original blue plastic case, manual, choke wrench, and six screw-in chokes to include Cyl, IC, M, IM for all your field and target needs. Weighing just 6lbs. 4oz. with its long barrels and full-length stock measuring 14 13/16” to the factory recoil pad. We have priced this gun to sell and it is not easy to find these fine little Beretta baby-framed 28ga. guns with 30” barrels. Thanks for looking!
