| General Specs: Colt, 1878, .41 Short Colt, 12oz., 2 1/4″ Barrel Serial Number: 9594 Vintage Firearms Inc. is pleased to offer this ANTIQUE Colt New line 2nd model, sn9594. This example was manufactured in 1878, with approximately 7,000 being made from 1874 to 1879. The nickel-plated finish on the barrel, frame, and cylinder is in 98% factory condition. The 2 ¼” Barrel bears an excellent bore. Factory original nitro blue is present on the hammer underside. The rosewood grip panels exhibit a perfect wood to metal fit and are numbered to the frame, as is the cylinder. This vintage five-shot pocket revolver chambers the .41 Short Colt centerfire cartridge. A fine addition to any collection of antique or modern firearms. Thanks for looking!
