Vintage Firearms Inc is pleased to present this unique two stock set. This is a Justin Sip Custom rifle featuring a Borden Rimrock SSR action. It is chambered in the .300 Winchester Short Magnum cartridge, capable of taking any game in America! The cartridge is known for its flat shooting, high velocity and lower felt recoil than is larger brethren the Winchester Magnum but offers close to the same ballistic performance. This beautiful rifle is built around a Borden Rimrock SSR action, a 22” fluted barrel with a bore that rates a perfect 10/10, it has a threaded muzzle and a genuine gold barrel band, the rifle has 99% original finish on its metal. The action is fitted with Recknagle swing off 30mm scope mounts, from the Recknagle Website-High performance and absolute repeatability are guaranteed. These rings cost $900 a set, obviously no expense was spared in the crafting of this firearm. The action fits perfectly into a hand carved Walnut stock with hinged base plate and skeletonized cap over Rosewood on the pistol grip. The EXHIBITION stock is STUNNING with strong mineral grain, some fiddleback and teardrop cheekpiece with shadow line. But for those rainy days you can quickly drop the action into the Kevlar stock, to make a true all-weather light weight rifle that weighs a handy 7lbs. 2oz. This rifle with its versatile furniture offers the best of all worlds-a gun ready to be displayed as the centerpiece of your collection and an all-round hunter chambered in a commonly available cartridge, knowing that you have a one-of-a-kind custom rifle built around the very best the industry can offer-priceless! Thanks for looking.
