The Perazzi MX8 over under has earned its place in history as one of the most respected, competition-built shotguns in modern times.  Seen at the top competitions worldwide, there are few that can hold a candle to the Perazzi over/under design.  Here we have a very special offering; a custom ordered true pair of MX8 12-gauge guns, consecutively serial numbered 118584 and 118585, with luscious, highly figured upgraded wood, drop-out triggers, fixed chokes, contained in the factory case with all paperwork and accessories, including extra springs, firing pins, and an extra drop out trigger group that will fit either gun.  Both guns remain in 99% factory condition, with barrels tight on hinge and breech face, and mechanics in perfect working order.  See specifications below for all the details.  True pairs are near impossible to come by and require the utmost skill and lots of extra time to build.  Perazzi craftsman must match the weight and balance of gun to gun, stock dimensions as well, and that is an extra cost when ordering from Perazzi.  The 30 ¾” barrels (78.1 cm) are both choked IM/F with tapered ribs that run from 11mm to 7mm, bore on both 18.4, weight 1.53kg set 1, 1.54kg set 2, both guns balance to perfection 1/8” ahead of the hinge pin, and the stock dimensions are identical.  Even the trigger pulls are within a few tenths of an ounce of each other.  The highly figured stocks terminate in fine Purdey style leather covered pads and retain 99% of their hand-rubbed oil finish.  Cased in the factory Negrini leather covered hard case (with protective canvas cover), this Perazzi pair is ready to travel the country or the world in pursuit of game and winning scores.  Ordered new these guns would exceed $40,000 in cost.  We are offering the pair up at a very attractive price, so they won’t last long.  Don’t hesitate to call and treat yourself to the best…you deserve it, just write the check before they are in someone else’s gunroom!  Thanks for looking.
