Vintage Firearms Inc is pleased to offer this Springfield M1 Garand. 10lbs. 9oz. of all American industrial might and “The Greatest Battle implement ever devised”. This Garand retains 99% factory original Parkerizing on the Springfield barrel and receiver, op-rod and trigger group. The bore is mirror clean. This rifle, serial number2974306 was manufactured in 1945, it was re barreled with a Springfield Armory barrel in 1953. The gun was issued from the CMP in 1983 and has an above average stock showing nice grain. The gun is supplied with a vintage cleaning set. Thanks for looking!
