The Mk VI was adopted in 1915 and served with distinction throughout The Great War. The Webley Revolvers earned the moniker of the “Webley Self-Extracting Revolver” for its top break action which ejects spent casings, thus quickening reloads. This example, serial number 157225, produced circa 1915, has been professionally restored, and retains 99% finish, and sports a shiny mirror bore with strong rifling. The frame, barrel and cylinder all have matching serial numbers, and military broad arrows signifying government ownership, with the gun well covered in acceptance stamps – as is the British fashion!
