The Winchester Model 1912 or more simply Model 12 became an instant hit on its introduction. So smooth and fluid is the action that the Model 12 earned the epithet of ‘The perfect repeater’. All Model 12’s are built in a take-down configuration, a couple of quick operations separates the gun into two transportable pieces with all parts captive, making for easy cleaning and storage. This Winchester Model 12, SN 1664554 was manufactured in 1958 and is in notable condition. The barrel, receiver, and trigger guard show factory original 99% finishes. The 30” solid ribbed barrel has a mirror bore and is marked FULL. The gun is stocked with nice straight grain Walnut which has factory original finish with some field blemishes evident, the stock has its factory original butt plate.
