The Winchester Model 1912 became an instant hit on its introduction. So smooth and fluid is the action that the Model 12 earned the epithet of ‘The perfect repeater’. All Model 12’s are built in a take-down configuration, a couple of quick operations separates the gun into two transportable pieces with all parts captive, making for easy cleaning and storage. This is an eye catching example of a 1956 built Winchester Model 12, serial number 1617863. The gun has a 28” barrel with a solid rib, is choked full, has a mirror bore and 99% bluing. The metalwork is complemented with a stunning piece of Walnut with an abundance of vibrant fiddleback and crotch figure, the pictures really capture its beauty.
