The Model 21 is an American icon with a well-deserved reputation. A handsome gun built with the finest steels, gunners in the know have utilized this Winchester in the field and at the club to shoot thousands of rounds without failure. IF YOU LIKE HEAVY LOADS FOR PHEASANTS OR OTHER TOUGH GAME, SHOOT HIGH VOLUME BIRDS OR CLAYS, THIS IS YOUR GUN! Search the internet and you will see lots of 12ga. guns for sale. Sixteen-gauge M21 guns were made in fewer numbers than the 20ga. and 12ga. guns, so finding Model 21 guns in 16ga guns in ready-to-go condition is not an easy task. When you do, they are usually heavy guns with a beavertail forearm, skeet chokes, and most that you find have been used hard. Some even have aftermarket stocks on them. The Model 21 we have here has a single selective trigger, a splinter forend, ejectors, and the most desirable 28” barrels choked IC/M, the most versatile chokes for the field or clays. WHAT A GREAT UPLAND GUN WE HAVE HERE! This configuration provides the classic upland bird gun that is a pleasure to carry over hill and dale. The gun is mechanically perfect with well-timed ejectors, crisp trigger pulls, barrels tight on the breech face like a new gun, screws all excellent, no cracks in the wood, perfect checkering, and superb wood to metal fit. The gun was fully restored by somebody that knew what they were doing, with expert polishing and finishes throughout. See the specifications below. If you prefer a beavertail forend, we have several Winchester factory forearms we have gathered over the years and one can be fit to this gun for about $600 or so. Just ask. For the field I personally prefer the splinter forend. There are fewer of them out there, that is for certain. The gun is priced right for such a unique and desirable Model 21, and she will make the ultimate upland gun still in time for your bird season. Thanks for looking.
