Designed by John Browning the Model 1894 is the rifle most associated with the Winchester name; it has sold over 7,000,000 units and is often referred as the “ultimate lever-action”. Offered throughout is production in many different configurations along with a myriad of customer customizable options 1894’s are very varied and often unique. This example, serial number 1022783, produced by Winchester in 1928 as a Saddle Ring Carbine. The 20” barrel has a stunning 10/10 bore with sharp rifling, Carbine Ladder sights, and retains 80% factory blue. The receiver and lever have gone to a very pleasing natural silver tone without losing any edge definition.
