| General Specs: Parker, 1927, 16-Gauge, 6lbs. 9oz., Chokes M/F, LOP 14 3/8″, DAH 2 5/8″, DAC 1 1/2″ Serial Number: 224932 A beautiful, wonderfully original Parker Brothers DH Grade 16 gauge from 1927, featuring 26” barrels, handsome factory engraving, and a desirable skeleton buttplate. Weighing just 6lbs 9oz, this is a lively, well-balanced upland gun with the craftsmanship and character of a classic American double. The barrels retain approximately 92% factory blue with mirror bores, while the receiver displays a pleasing silver patina with traces of original case color. The sharp field scene engraving, attractive walnut with original finish and excellent wood-to-metal fit are all highlights. The gun shows honest field wear consistent with its age and remains mechanically excellent. The gun’s configuration matches the Parker factory records, and a factory-record research letter has been ordered. A particularly appealing, original high-grade Parker that is equally at home in the field or a fine collection.
