With its signature humpback receiver design, the Browning’s Auto-5 is instantly recognizable and with more than 2.7 million made, it is a common sight both in the wild and the more manicured lawns of Skeet and Trap lines! These guns were made to be used and millions of hunters and sportsmen did just that, slinging billions of rounds of ammo at all kinds of targets and they’re still going strong! Manufactured in Belgium C1949 and weighing 6lbs. 14oz. this Browning Sweet Sixteen is notable for its second style safety (used between 1909-1951) and its overall excellent condition. The matted barrel is 99% factory blued, the bore is mirrored and is choked Mod. The receiver has been expertly restored to factory like condition. The wood shows some lite handling and is salt free, it is capped with an art nouveau style Browning hard rubber buttplate. Two Browning magazine limiters are included along with paperwork.
