| General Specs: Matheson, 1991, .600 Nitro Express, 12lbs. 15oz., LOP 14 5/8″ Serial Number: 001 This is gun number 1 of only 3 built by master gunsmith Donald M. Matheson. BIG gun, BIG Bullets and BIG Game, an awesome looking gun built for serious people and serious hunts! This rifle serial number 001 was built in 1991 and features a falling block action, a mirror bore, a coin finished receiver, lever, and grip cap, complimented with vivid nitro blued screws. The stock has a cheek piece and the forend is capped with ebony, the deep hand cut checkering is perfect, sling eyelets are fitted, the gun is in 99% condition with a few handling marks. Since its introduction in 1900 the .600 Nitro Express has been used on dangerous game around the world and has even made an appearance on the early 20th century battlefields to defeat armor plate! The rifle is cased in a custom case with accessories. Two boxes of .600 Nitro Express cartridges are included- 10 rounds each of solid and soft nose 900 Grain bullets, these will ship separately.
