Piotti shotguns are Italian “BEST” guns equal to any double gun in the world.  A 7-pin sidelock Holland style action, engraved by Italy’s best, stocked to the beaded fences, chopper lump barrels, finely sculpted action machined out of a solid billet of Boehler steel (the best the gun industry has to offer), all actions hand filed, shaped, and fitted, with each gauge getting its own scaled frame size, all combine to make the finest game or clays gun.  The Piotti we show here, King No.1 sn7100 made in 1977, is not the usual Piotti.  Most Piotti guns have English stocks, splinter forends, and double triggers…the traditional British style field gun.  This gun was produced for the shooter that demands the consistency of a pistol grip, the clear view and positive grip of a beavertail forend, and the simplicity of a reliable single trigger; features that promote accuracy and minimize the potential for a failed shot.  Pair these features with a lively, fast, lightweight 6 ¾ pound package that balances perfectly on the hinge pin with M/F chokes, and you have the perfect upland 12 bore.  Or some might say a gun designed specifically for the competitive pigeon ring where tens of thousands of dollars change hands decided by a single successful kill.  There is no sign the gun has ever been fired…no primer marks around firing pin holes, no carbon anywhere, no wear on metal, checkering or wood.  The wood is richly figured Turkish walnut sporting a hand-rubbed oil finish with only two tiny safe marks anywhere.  The super-fine 32 line per inch checkering is perfection and without wear.  The amazing full coverage engraving is signed by world renowned engraver Oscar Granetti, adding value and desirability to this gorgeous gun.  Still in production, the price if ordered with the options shown on this gun is $67,055.

Piotti guns are amongst the finest ever built and take well over a year to order one into the States.  I can’t think of a better pheasant/sharptail gun the way it is configured.  Anything under 7lbs. in a12 bore is a lightweight game gun, a gun that is a pleasure to carry all day over hill and dale.  Just in time for a few practice rounds this summer before your upland season begins.  Isn’t it time you buy yourself that dream gun that will gain value as you enjoy its use…an heirloom gun that can be passed down to a loved one?  Life is short…write the check!  The bargain price we are offering should make it an easy decision.  Thanks for looking.
