Parker Reproductions provides the double gun enthusiast a modern alternative to a true classic.  With modern steel and manufacturing techniques the Parker Repro is a wonderfully made gun designed for generations of use.  Manufactured from 1984 to 1989, there are limited numbers of guns in the marketplace and everyday even fewer in such great condition.  These are true copies of the Parker original, with many parts interchangeable.  The prices have enjoyed a steady climb, yet the guns remain affordable.  In fact, when comparing to like priced double shotguns being produced today, the Parker Reproduction is a far superior product in design, quality of wood and checkering, engraving, and finish work. This gun, sn20-01322, made circa 1989, is in high condition, along the way a second Parker 20ga barrel has been added. The second barrel (25 ¾” length) has been fitted with a set of Briley Thin-walled screw-in chokes, this work was performed by Briley. The original 26” barrels are choked IC/M, mirror bores, no pits, scratches, or dents. The additional barrel is supplied with SK/IC/LM/M/F screw-in chokes and key, it also shows mirror bores and no scratches or dings, the screw-in chokes appear un-used (the chokes themselves cost $600). What a useful set of barrels and both ring clear as bells! Configured in the most desirable English style stock, splinter forend, and single selective trigger, she is the ultimate upland gun. The gun has been in the field and has a few handling marks. The receiver retains 98% factory case color, excellent screws, sharp engraving, timed ejectors, action tight with lever right of center, the trigger guard retains 99% blue, all in excellent mechanical condition. The wood is figured European walnut and features striking fiddleback throughout; straight stocked with a splinter forend, LOP is 14 7/16” to skeleton butt, 2 1/8” drop at heel, 1 3/16” drop at comb, 1/8” cast off, superb wood to metal fit…all quite stunning.  You can feed this gun 2 ¾” magnum loads for your heavy shooting needs, or mild loads for general use.  You can even shoot high quality non-toxic loads with hard shot through the fixed IC/M chokes! We have priced this gun to sell and its a great value, don’t hesitate or this one will be gone. The set is cased in a Parker case and includes its canvas cover. We’ve added the oil bottle and cleaning accessories, a $150 added value!  This 2-barrel set represents a versatile Parker Reproduction and is an investment grade firearm that can be used and enjoyed for decades to come. Faithful to the original design, the workmanship on this DHE is impeccable, and with this combination of barrels and chokes a great all-round value, all imaginable field and sporting clay scenarios are well covered. Summer perfect upland gun just in time for some summer practice, a tune-up for the fall season. Thanks for looking!
