Vintage Firearms Inc is pleased to offer this Remington Model 722 showing all original factory finishes. This Remington 722 is serial number 98723 and was built in 1949, it features a tapered barrel with a perfect bore, American Walnut, a polished bolt and action and is tapped for a scope. There is 99% factory original bluing on the barrel and receiver, the factory varnish has some field marks, the stock has sling points mounted. The .300 Savage cartridge is still considered one of the best medium-range big game offerings. The ammo is still easily available and is known for its soft recoil. Thanks for looking.
