General Specs: Winchester, 1920, .33WCF, 8lbs., LOP 13 1/4″ Serial Number: 157808 Here we have a special-order Winchester Model 1886 rifle in .33 Winchester Center Fire caliber. Special order features include takedown feature, shotgun butt, ½ magazine, and sling eyes. The M1886 came with a 24” rapid taper lightweight barrel when ordered on .33WCF, and this rifle has a brilliant shiny bore that rates 9.5 out of 10. ALL FINISHES ARE FACTORY ORIGINAL, INCLUDING THE WOOD FINISH, with 98% barrel blue, 90% action blue, 95% wood finish. The wood is clean, without cracks or splits, with perfect wood-to-metal fit, with only light handling marks accumulated over its 103 years of existence. This rifle was built in 1920, with serial number 157808 and was very carefully cared for by its previous owner. The front sight is the Lyman with ivory bead, rear sight the Marbles sporting sight. The action has been cleaned and lubricated by our gunsmiths and all works as designed with no issues. This is a nice, honest rifle in a caliber suited to most North American game at moderate distances. Ammunition is readily available, and we have 7 full boxes available if the new owner would like the ammo to go with the rifle. The Winchester Model 1886 is a premier collectible rifle, still useful for the hunting of deer, elk, bear, or boar, with 250 grain bullets traveling at about 2100 fps.
